Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is free and open to the public but all beer related sales are strictly for those 21+ in age with a valid ID.
Do I need a ticket to attend?
No. You do not need a ticket to attend. Anyone can come down to the Landing and help celebrate the Bicentennial. This is not a closed event. Food and beer can all be purchased at the event. Full pints of beer and 7oz pour “sampling tickets” can be purchased on site. You can come and just buy one beer, or buy the “Sampling Ticket” to try multiple beers and take home a STLBEER tasting glass.
What is included with the Tasting Ticket price?
A “Tasting Ticket” includes one vintage STLBEER commemorative tasting glass and eight tasting coupons to be redeemed for 7oz samples of any beer on the 40-foot Draft Wall, featuring 25 locally brewed beers. Note that additional 7oz Tasting Coupons will be available at the event for purchase in batches of 5 for $13. Full pint beer pours will also be available for purchase at the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is plenty of paid parking on Laclede’s Landing including paid street parking and paid parking lots. The Laclede’s Landing Metrolink stop is just a couple blocks from the festivities. We also highly encourage our guests to use ride sharing and taxis for responsible rides to and from our event.
What COVID policies are in place for this event?
We will follow the policies and guidelines recommended by the CDC and local health officials in place at the time of the event. We encourage attendees to socially distance where possible.
What’s the refund policy?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided. The festival runs rain or shine.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. You can present your phone with your barcode provided by your ticketing confirmation receipt to be scanned for single entry into the festival. If you have a print out of your ticket, it may, however speed things up.
The event runs “rain or shine”. What does that mean?
The Bicentennial Beer Garden is set to take place rain or shine. To check the National Weather Service forecast for the St. Louis area, visit www.weather.gov. Bring your ponchos and/or smaller umbrellas if there’s a high probability of rain.
